Chivallry

Postby epitome » Thu Jun 24, 2010 3:11 pm

I can't figure out how to increase my chivallry status. I lose just about ever fight I accept in the kinght's arena. How do you improve chivallry?

Thanks

I haven't figured out Chivalry either, but I can tell you that if you leave your character in the Knight's Arena, you will be the random opponent that people fight. As far as I can tell (and I haven't really looked THAT closely) it doesn't cost energy or h/m to do that. Occasionally, I can win. But yea, it seems like there are a lot of extremely strong players who also hang out there, and it's very hard to win.

If you have good balance, it's sometimes easier to win a duel on horseback because you might knock your opponent off their mount. This is great fun!

As for how to get enough points, or whatever, to get past "Bachelor", I don't know because I haven't seen anyone who is not Bachelor.

oh, and be sure to sign up for the Jousting Competition. Even if you lose every duel, you get an honorary medal. This all happens even if you are offline and it doesn't seem to deplete your energy.

have fun!

The Knights arena is very hard..***brushing the dirt from my backside****I have lost every fight and my poor backside is bruised from falling off my horse. Will post again once I am no longer a bachelor.

To me the more times you play should increase your Chivallry but I could be wrong

You will increase your chevalry status by participating in the jousting games each week.

Yes, the jousting games you can participate in for a price of 50 crowns and it doesn't cost any energy other than what it costs you to get the knight's arena to register.

You get the other medals if you win the playoff duels, the first day, AND if you finish on the podium of the competition finals, the second day.

Do you have to be in the arena when the fighting starts to win?

Are there ways to improve one's chances to win at the jousting? Or is it pretty much level/skill point based, and the luck of the draw (with whomever you get paired with)?

That's pretty much it. The odds of winning the finals are very slim for the average person (you'll see it's usually the same people most of the time) but just being in the tourneys helps you increase your training which is good for tibold and other chars you need to fight for the quests.

You don't need to be mounted if it's on foot just on horseback, and that means any type of transport.
